Meet Joe Fishburne, the photographer behind Fishburne Gallery. Joe is an accomplished landscape and nature photographer based in Beaufort, SC. He and his family recently moved to Beaufort, from Charleston, where he was born and raised. While growing up in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, he gained a deep appreciation for the beauty of this coastal region and has the privilege of capturing its scenery through his lens. Drawing inspiration from the peaceful marshes, pristine beaches and lush forests of the region, Joe's photography is characterized by its exceptional attention to detail and masterful use of natural light. His dedication and pride to capturing the natural beauty that defines coastal South Carolina shows in the craftsmanship of his art.

The large-scale landscape photographs Joe creates utilizes Fujifilms GFX 100s medium format camera to capture the highest quality and finest details of a scene. Each of his images goes through a meticulous process of being reviewed, selected, refined and printed. Selected photographs are giclee printed on archival fine art canvas using archival pigmented inks, both approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild, ensuring the highest quality and longevity for collectors and art enthusiasts. These works are then finished in wood floater frames, adding a touch of sophistication to the presentation.

In his free time, Joe loves to explore the Lowcountry with his family, always on the lookout for new and inspiring landscapes to capture. His work has been featured in various publications and galleries, and he is committed to pushing the boundaries of his craft and creating images that truly speak to the beauty of the world around us.

Joe's work has been displayed in local exhibitions and is currently represented at The Gallery at Sweetgrass, Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms, SC. Joe is also a member of the Beaufort Art Association where he'll be displaying his work in and around Beaufort.
