We set out Christmas 2013 to spend time with family in Charleston, SC. Being the town where I grew up for most of my life I wanted to take time and photograph the bridge connecting Mt. Pleasant to Charleston. So my dad and I ventured out to the old bridge where I took some shots of the harbor and downtown Charleston then we headed towards the big bridge. My first thought was to go to the Yorktown to see if I had a "shot" turned out to be a wash due to the angle and the trees in the way so as we were heading back I saw a road going behind the brush leading to an office building. I told dad to hold on, made a u-turn and drove down that unknown (to me) road. Thankfully I did since it lead me to a great spot to capture this image. I've also make a black and white version and think it turned out great. I'll be printing these for my home very soon. If you'd like to have this printed, please give me call or shoot me an email as I'm taking orders for these two pieces. I can print fairly large so if you have a specific size, let's discuss. I contract the printing through several professional photo labs which can print on canvas, aluminum sheet, photographic paper or can I send you a hi-res file with a license agreement.
